Tonight 6 of our club members did the finish work on trail segment #11 at Essex Park. The grading is mostly complete - thank you Jeff Robertson - and tonight, the group walked the entire section, chopping roots, cutting back the uphill slope to 45 degrees with mcleods, trimming branches, and spreading out any dirt humps by the trail edge. We hope to do the final raking, seed, and mulch with straw within the next week, weather permitting.
