Rochester Active Sports Club is a multi-sport club designed to provide a framework for the support and development of sports such as cycling (MTB and road) and nordic skiing in South East Minnesota. The club is organized as a nonprofit organization in the State of Minnesota and has 501 (c)(3) status. One of our primary goals is to build up active participation through coaching sessions and clinics to improve members skills in biking and skiing. We organize coaching sessions, ski events, bike races and regular bike rides.

 

Donating to RASC and the RNST

If you would like to donate to RASC or to the Rochester Nordic ski team (our high school / middle school program), please send your donation to Michael O’Connor, 518 24^th Street SW, Rochester, MN 55902. Please indicate if your donation is for a specific project (i.e the Essex Ski Trail project) or for general support of RASC, RNST or trail development and upkeep. Every donation towards the Essex Ski Trail project helps us achieve our goal of a functioning ski trail ! All donations are fully tax deductible and a donation receipt will be provided.

Essex Park & Quarry Hill Projects

Over the last 2 years we have been working hard on the development of the Essex Park and Quarry Hill trails. We believe that these trails, located close to downtown Rochester will be an excellent resource for both trail runs and running events in summer and as Nordic ski trails in winter. For winter skiing, both trails have been designed to optimize retention of snow.
